1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FindMyPro mobile and web application (the “App”), operated by FindMyPro (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What the App Does

FindMyPro helps homeowners search for construction and home-service professionals (“Pros”) by ZIP code and trade, view Pro profiles, and submit quote requests. The App is a discovery and referral service - it connects homeowners with Pros, but it is not a party to, and does not guarantee the outcome of, any agreement, estimate, or work performed between a homeowner and a Pro.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Homeowners

Homeowners do not need to create an account to search for Pros or submit a quote request. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a quote request.

3.2 Pros

Pros register for an account and submit a business profile (trades served, service ZIP codes, license information, photos, and supporting documents) for review. A submitted profile may be approved, rejected, or returned for more information at our discretion. We may suspend or ban a Pro account at any time, including for inaccurate information, unresponsiveness to homeowners, or violations of these Terms.

Pros are responsible for keeping their license status, insurance status, service areas, and contact information accurate and current.

4. Pro Verification Is Not a Guarantee

Where the App displays a license number, an “Active License” or “Inactive License” status, or an “Insurance Verified at Registration” label, this reflects information the Pro submitted and, where applicable, an automated or manual check against available license-lookup data at a point in time. License status is checked daily against the Oregon Construction Contractors Board’s public registry; insurance verification reflects a one-time check made at registration and is not re-verified on an ongoing basis. It is not a certification of a Pro’s workmanship, business practices, financial standing, or ongoing compliance. License and insurance status can change after a profile is reviewed. Homeowners are responsible for independently verifying a Pro’s credentials, insurance, and licensing before hiring, and for any agreement they enter into with a Pro.

5. Quote Requests

When you submit a quote request, we share the details you provide (name, contact information, ZIP code, trade, and project description) with the Pro you selected so they can contact you directly. We do not guarantee that a Pro will respond, that a response will be timely, or that the Pro will be available or willing to take on your project. Any communication, estimate, contract, and payment arrangement that follows is strictly between you and the Pro.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in a Pro profile or quote request
• Use the App to harvest contact information for unsolicited marketing
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its underlying systems
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Impersonate a Pro or business you are not authorized to represent

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or restrict access to the App for conduct we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by FindMyPro or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Pros retain ownership of the photos, business descriptions, and other content they submit, and grant us a license to display that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

8. Third-Party Links and Pro Content

Pro profiles may include links to Pro websites, email addresses, or phone numbers outside the App. We do not review or endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, practices, or services of any Pro or third-party site linked from the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT PRO INFORMATION DISPLAYED IN THE APP IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDMYPRO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH ANY PRO, OR ANY WORK PERFORMED BY A PRO -WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FindMyPro harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a Pro.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or that we believe is harmful to other users, Pros, or the App.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms at https://www.findmypro.com/terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FindMyPro is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
