FindMyPro (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the FindMyPro mobile and web application (the “App”). FindMyPro helps homeowners search for construction professionals (“Pros”) by ZIP code and trade, view Pro profiles, and submit quote requests.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

The App does not require you to create an account. We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, primarily when you submit a Request Quote form:

When you search, you also provide a ZIP code and may select a trade filter. This information is sent to our servers to return matching Pros.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the App, our servers and hosting providers may automatically receive device and usage information (such as device type, operating system, and browser type on web) and network information (such as IP address and request timestamps), typically recorded in server logs for security, troubleshooting, and service operation.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the App.

2.3 Information we do not collect

• We do not require homeowner login or passwords
• We do not collect precise GPS location (you enter a ZIP code manually)
• We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts
• We do not process payments through the App
• We do not provide in-app messaging between you and Pros

If you tap Email on a Pro profile, your device’s mail app opens. Messages sent that way are handled by your email provider, not transmitted through our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the App -search for Pros, display profiles, and submit quote requests
• Connect you with Pros -deliver your quote request to the Pro you selected and notify them by email
• Operate and improve the service -maintain listings, prevent abuse, fix errors, and improve reliability
• Comply with law -respond to lawful requests and protect our rights and users

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 With Pros

When you submit a quote request, we share the information you provided (name, contact info, ZIP, trade, and description) with the Pro you selected so they can contact you about your project. Once shared, that Pro’s use of your information is governed by their own practices.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.

4.4 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you if required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain quote request (“lead”) data for as long as needed to fulfill the connection between you and the Pro, operate our admin tools and business records, and comply with legal obligations.

Quote requests are retained for 24 months after submission unless deleted earlier upon request. Server logs are typically retained for 30–90 days unless needed for security investigations.

6. Your Choices and Rights

6.1 Optional submission

Providing information through the quote form is voluntary. If you do not submit a quote request, we do not collect your name or contact details.

6.2 Access, correction, and deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@findmypro.com with enough detail to locate your quote request (e.g., name, ZIP, approximate date submitted, and Pro contacted). We may need to verify your identity before responding.

6.3 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and confirm that we do not sell personal information. 7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for adults seeking home improvement professionals. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the App and our servers and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The App is designed for users in the United States (ZIP-based search). If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Pro profiles may include links to Pro websites or contact methods outside our App. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Pros or third-party sites. Review their policies before sharing additional information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy at https://www.findmypro.com/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
